Audi TT RS Plus

Just when you think an Audi TT RS can’t get any better, a ‘plus‘ edition turns up and bends your perception of what is good and what is really good. When we say really good, we mean blisteringly fast, outstandingly fun and unmatched in terms of performance. Whichever ‘plus‘ you might choose, the Coupe or the Roadster, you can’t go wrong.

The standard 2.5 TFSI 5-line engine found in the RS is already powerful enough but the ‘plus’ sees a further power boost from 340 hp to 360 hp. Now an even more colossal torque figure of 465 Nm (342.97 lb-ft) passes trough the gearbox which can be an seven-speed S tronic or a six-speed manual. The S tronic is naturally a dual-clutch transmission and has its own launch control for that lightning performance from the starting line. All models come with the flawless quattro system that sends power to all four wheels.

Performance figures are a little bit in favor of the S tronic transmission coupled with a Coupe: a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) time for the Coupe S tronic is 4.1 seconds with 4.3 seconds for the manual. The Roadster performs a tenth of a second slower in both configurations (4.2 with S tronic and 4.4 with a manual). The speed limiter for both cars kicks in at 280 km/h (173.98 mph). All of that stacks up pretty well against the economy figures which allow the RS to be driven on an everyday basis - 8.5 liters of fuel per 100 km (27.67 mpg) if you go with the S tronic.

That fuel frugality, as well as the agile acceleration, is partly due to the diet on which the RS had been put. (They should have called it the ‘minus’). The Coupé with manual transmission, including quattro drive, weighs just 1,450 kilograms (3,196.70 lb). Other factors which might help the track performance include the four-piston calipers of the big ventilated front brake disks, the large fixed rear wing and the optional electro-magnetic damping suspension that has been a trademark the TT line for ages. The car itself sits on four 19-inch cast wheels (black with red lining on the rim) which are wrapped in wide 255/35 tires.

VOLANT® - Donaldson's® PowerCore™ Filtration Technology Air Filter
A striking feature that may give the car away as a ‘plus‘ version is the front grille – it’s a mesh of diamond-patterned design framed in what look like aluminum. Apart from that, there are the wing mirrors which are made from a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) and the exhaust system which is distinguishable with its black oval tailpipe trims. A sound flap on the pipes, which enhances the roar from the engine is the car’s party piece.
Forget about filter replacements and air flow troubles! Skillfully engineered and produced by the most knowledgeable experts and exhaustively tested, the air filters stored on our digital shelves ensure the lowest air restriction, unrivaled filtration efficiency, and maximum dust-holding capacity. Check over 41 air filter reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, to choose the product that will provide you with the power increase you need. Audi TT Filtration Technology Air Filter
Donaldson's® PowerCore™ Filtration Technology Air Filter by Volant®. This air filter boosts the efficiency and increases the performance of air intake kits because the contaminants load on the surface rather than in the depths of the filter. It's water resistant, so getting wet won't decrease airflow and performance. And it's guaranteed for 4 years or 100,000 miles.

Mercedes M Class Chrome Trim

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz M-Class is completely new, and reviewers are happy about the changes they’ve seen so far.  The consensus of the auto press for the 2011 model was that it was pricey, and its competitors offered better value. Mercedes-Benz must have taken these comments to heart, because the 2012 M-Class comes with a more extensive list of standard features and has the same base price as the outgoing model. "Mercedes-Benz continues to keep it fresh with an all-new version of its popular M-Class SUV. More powerful engines with better fuel economy, improved handling and new technologies are all ingredients to a prize-winning recipe,” writes Left Lane News. “That they are able to do it and add additional content while holding the line on price-creep is even more impressive.”
Chrome is more than just sparkle or flash. Instead, think of it is a way to highlight the stylish details for Mercedes M Class  exterior presents. Chrome sends a message. 2013 Accord

We like our Honda Accords around here, having awarded the car no fewer than 26 10Best awards, including in all five model years of the current generation. And so it was with keen interest that we watched Honda preview the ninth generation of the Accord at the 2012 Detroit auto show in the form of this coupe concept. Rendered in a gorgeous deep satin red with lots of glitzy chrome, the Accord coupe concept was not driven on stage but rather hurled like a curling stone toward the audience on a rotating platform, providing a 360-degree look at the car that will go on sale by the end of the calendar year.
Based on this show car, the 2013 Accord will be instantly familiar to anyone who’s seen the car we have today. But the sharp creases of the current model look to be augmented with a few more curves, most notably in the line that rises over the rear wheel and the kick-up from the rocker panel. Also, apparently the front and rear ends will look exactly the same. The next Accord coupe will be roughly the same size as now, but Honda says that the sedan will be shorter in length and lighter. The latter will face some of its stiffest—and best-looking—competition yet in the form of the 2013 Ford Fusion, the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, and the 2012 VW Passat, to name a few, so to stand relatively still in the styling department places even more importance on what is found under the Accord’s skin.
To appreciate a body kit and the benefits it delivers, you have to try it. It's the only way how you can realize how much the look and handling of your vehicle have improved. One-of-a-kind style created by the exquisite curves of the Honda body kits that we offer will never leave you indifferent. Manufactured from carbon fiber, fiberglass, and polyurethane composites, our custom body kits provide world-class quality and radically new appearance. Still in doubts? Read over 23 body kits reviews with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars, and let us help you change the look and feel of your vehicle.

Mercedes News

Our spy photographers have snapped a few shots of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG and G65 AMG SUVs.  The beasts are currently undergoing winter testing in Sweden, and from the looks of things, buyers will be able to chose between two brawny boxes when the vehicles receive an official debut next year. The G55 is likely to feature a 525 horsepower, twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter V8 engine along with the subtle grille and bumper updates we see here. The globe-crushing SUV will also likely receive larger, more capable brakes as well as an updated interior. Otherwise, we can expect the G's sharp angles to soldier on in perpetuity.
If the G55 isn't enough to make you giggle, Mercedes-Benz is also planning an even more exclusive G65. That terror will come boasting a 6.0-liter, twin-turbo V12 engine good for 612 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque, though only 200 units will be produced. How's that for maniacal? Word has it the AMG G twins will take a bow at either the 2012 Detroit Auto Show or the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March. Mercedes Body Kit

Ford Lighting.

Long before Ford turned its attention to building one of the most capable production off-road trucks in all the land, the company's SVT engineers spent their time trying to wring the most straight-line speed possible from an F-150.  The result was the first-generation Ford F-150 Lightning - a vehicle that still manages to pull at our heart strings eighteen years after it debuted. If you're still sore you never got the chance to own a brand-new F-150 Lightning, eBay Motors has something special for you. A seller in Saint George, Utah is auctioning off a 1993 Lightning with just 37,850 miles on the clock.
Judging by the photos and the description, the truck is as close to factory perfect as you're likely to find anywhere. The owners is proud to say no aftermarket equipment of any kind has been added to the vehicle in its life, and the 351 V8 still looks fresh. Purists may cry foul at the tonneau cover, but the seller says that piece is a dealer-installed original. The paint, interior and engine bay all look clean enough to dine on with no rust, stains or leaks anywhere to be found. It looks like a million dollars, but the seller is only asking $15,500. Head over to eBay Motors to take a look.

All-new 2013 Mazda CX-5.

The Mazda CX-5 replaces the long-in-the-tooth and recently departed Tribute, a rebadged Ford Escape. It just so happens that an all-new Ford Escape is also being introduced at the LA Auto Show. This time the two competing models are not related, as the once entwined automakers go their own way.
The CX-5 is a showcase for Mazda’s Skyactiv technology, a holistic approach designed to save fuel by optimizing the all-new engine and transmissions, as well as weight savings. In many ways, Skyactiv is a concept reminiscent of BMW’s “efficient dynamics.” Mazda admits that developing a hybrid or another more flamboyant green technology is beyond the small company’s resources. The CX-5 is a fresh start from the ground up and will spawn future derivatives.
The CX-5 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. With 155 horsepower, the CX-5 enters the small SUV segment with some 30 hp deficit against some competitors, but the Mazda folks say that the sport-cute’s lower weight won’t make drivers feel shortchanged. Mazda also says that the CX-5 emphasizes dynamic styling and sporty handling without sacrificing comfort or fuel economy.
Three trim lines will be available: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring with either front or AWD. It goes on sale in early March 2012. A diesel version may arrive in mid 2013.
Offering a complete line of Mazda CX-5 Accessories and parts, CARiD.com invites to upgrade your vehicle without having to empty your wallet. Dash kits, grille guards, floor mats, spoilers, mazda wheels and much more come from the world's most respected manufacturers who know your model best. Presenting the highest quality, all of our Mazda CX-5 Accessories and parts are guaranteed to enact a precise OEM fit. Here at CARiD.com you can find comfort, style, and protection!

2012 Audi A3.

The 2012 Audi A3 ranks 4 out of 10 Upscale Small Cars. This ranking is based on our analysis of 107 published reviews and test drives of the Audi A3, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.
The 2012 Audi A3 is one of the more practical cars in the class, but still manages to be fun to drive.
If you want a car that seems to be able to do it all: race down back roads, not lose its grip in snowy weather, handle plenty of cargo and get good fuel economy, reviewers say you should have the 2012 Audi A3 on your list. Though some reviewers comment that the A3 is getting a little dated, other reviewers say Audi shouldn’t mess with a winning package that includes a premium hatchback with great performance, a practical cargo capacity and available diesel engine that can get up to 42 mpg on the highway.
Of course, the A3 won’t work for every upscale small car buyer. Passenger space is cramped, which makes the A3 a better choice for a couple or single person than a family. It’s also pricey for the class, and gets pretty expensive when you go for options like all-wheel drive, the diesel engine or navigation. Also, you can’t get the two performance features that reviewers like best – all-wheel drive and a diesel engine – together.
There’s more than enough front-end style available for your Audi right here at CARiD.com. We’ve taken the time to really push the limits with our selection, giving you more options than ever before. Audi Grills are not all created equally, which is why we uncover only the most pristine and ravishing pieces for our selection.
